Update: Mamta Kafle - New Charges

The last time Mamta Kafle spoke to anyone outside of her home was the evening July 29, 2024, when she had a video call with her mother in Nepal. When her mom called Mamta back the next morning at around 11 am, her call went unanswered. According to prosecutors in Prince William County, Virginia, that is because Mamta was dead.
Mamta’s husband, Naresh Bhatt, claimed she had taken off, leaving both him and their 11-month-old daughter behind. After weeks of public outcry, and multiple search warrants, Naresh Bhatt was arrested on August 22, 2024 on the charge of concealing a dead body.
Bryce Laspisa Parts 1-3

Often, when a person goes missing, it happens quickly. A little girl is playing with friends when they lose sight of her, or she gets off the school bus and never makes it home. A dad mows the lawn and is never seen again. But sometimes a disappearance is gradual, with multiple sightings and clues that seemingly lead everywhere and nowhere simultaneously. Â
Bryce Laspisa was 19 years old when he got in his car and drove away from his girlfriend’s apartment after breaking up with her. His own apartment was 90 miles away, but he never made it home...
Shane Workman

On April 25, 2010 at around 10 pm, 31-year-old Shane Workman told his dad he was going to run to Sheetz, a gas station near their home in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. But Shane never made it there. It wouldn’t be until they returned that they realized their son had never come home after his trip to the gas station.
A search party was formed immediately, but despite many tips, including the names of people who may have been involved in Shan...

Patricia Meehan

“This is not like her. We think… that she is confused and scared. We’re quite sure she doesn’t know who she is.”
This is a terrifying thought for any parent or loved one to come to terms with. That someone they care about could forget who they are and not even realize that there are people out there who are desperately trying to find them and bring them home. But for the family of Patricia Meehan, this wasn’t just a nightmare, it was a cold and brutal reality that began with a car accident in Circle, Mont...
Bianca Piper

When 13-year-old Bianca Piper got into an argument with her mother, Shannon Tanner, over doing the dishes, Shannon put her in the car, drove her a mile up the road, and told her to walk home. Investigators in Foley, Missouri performed an extensive search but uncovered almost no clues regarding the missing girl. Over the years, they’ve investigated many theories, including the possibility of Bianca’s disappearance being...
Jaliek Rainwalker

“Dear Everybody, I’m sorry for everything. I won’t bother you anymore. Goodbye, Jaliek.” This is the letter that Stephen Kerr said his 12-year-old adopted son left in his empty bedroom at his grandparents’ home on November 1, 2007, right before he went missing. By all accounts, Jaliek was an emotionally troubled boy, and there was a great deal of friction within his family. Is this a note written by a child right before he decided to run away? Or, is there more to this letter and Jaliek’s home life than it appears?
Jaliek Rainwalker has been missing from Greenwi...
