This lour riot grrrl-inspired queer foursome Lady Lazarus hail from Gadigal where they rock out at several gigs about Sydney. The band is moving to Berlin next year. How fun!

While they've all been super busy working, practicing and gigging they've found time to put together Australia’s first Loud Women festival. It's on Saturday 7th December via OzTix. We're on the countdown now.

ĠENN are a UK-based four piece girl group based in Brighton on the cusp of releasing their debut album (when vinyl stocks allow). The history of the band is certainly an interesting one.

Genuine storytellers don't seem to get the praise they deserve in the Australian country scene. The saturation of cliches, songs of love and loss of it, and living on the land seem to be most of the reasons any success has been made in the male-dominated scene.

Ladies are definitely outnumbered, but not to be outsung. Clancy Pye  has a powerful storyteller with a professional background while being an all round nice person too.
