Mike discusses the authority every believer in Christ has to overcome in spiritual warfare. A story of when God had Corrie Ten Boom take up her authority in Christ while speaking at a church in Eastern Europe is shared to give a picture of the spiritual power and weapons that every Christian possesses. This authority is to be used in the proper context and in the flow of God’s will and not as a way of promoting or calling attention to self.

In this broadcast we play session 2 of The Road to Grace video series, where Mike discusses what porn and sexual sin does to those who are ensnared to it, and how a wife is affected by her husband’s sexual sin. We live in a time when many are falling away. Whether it’s called “deconstruction” or some other term the tragic result is the same – walking away from God. This has terrible eternal consequences. Asa was a King from Judah. When faced with a battle where his army was outnumbered two to 1, Asa cried out to God for deliverance and watched the Lord come through in the big way. After several decades of prosperity, Asa drifted from God and his hard went hard. This is a timely warning for us during these last days.

Not long after Joel arrived in the Ukraine a building was hit. Joel provides his perspective on how Christians in the Ukraine are responding in a time of war.

Martin Kuhrt is the senior pastor and Vicar of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Aylesbury, in the United Kingdom. Recently, his church hosted one of our From Porn to Grace conferences. Martin discusses the opposition he went through from persons in his church and in other ways, how the conference went, and his perspective on whether UK churches are facing the epidemic of porn and sexual sin in the church.

The US military has a combined total force of around 2.8 million, including civilian workers. One article from the Navy Times quoted Coast Guard attorney and Comander Joel Coito as saying the following: “Porn consumption in America has reached “pandemic proportions” due to its anytime-availability — citing studies showing that 64 percent of people between 13 and 24 “actively seek out pornography on a weekly basis.” “Military therapists and chaplains now hear with ‘alarming regularity’ from concerned military personnel that have become addicted to viewing pornography.” Mike talks about an opening at the US Military that has opened for Blazing Grace, and more.

Recent events, including calling Canada the 51st state, taking Greenland, taking Panama, renaming a body of water, come off as arrogant for a country that has been in decline. So does a church that will not face its sin or pretends it has no problems with sexual sin, all while proclaiming to “schedule a revival,” which occur in God’s timing and God’s ways – with ongoing, fervent prayer and the confession of sin, not a polished speaker giving a sermon on it. Jan is a former porn actress (2006–2007), and is the Intervention Leader for the Christian anti-sex-trafficking organization Kainos in Germany where she lives and called in from. Did you know that: Over 60% of adults in the United States report feeling lonely. Young adults between the ages of 18 and 22 are the loneliest age group. The number of people who live alone has increased by over 30% in the last few decades. Social isolation is as harmful to health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. Loneliness can increase the risk of premature death by up to 50%. Mike talks about spiritual warfare, prayer, and how the church can radically become a spiritual powerhouse overnight, which would include resolving the epidemic of loneliness in the modern church.

Mike gets into the futility of allowing lust to fire up our flesh, where it takes us, and, why not talking about sex in the church is stupid too.

In this second of two broadcasts, Joshua Inman continues the story of his journey through unwanted same sex attraction, Joshua’s recovery included learning to overcome fear, heal from father wounds, break free from the lies that kept him in bondage, and learn to receive and rest in the love of God.

Joshua Inman is the twin brother of Steven Inman, who we interviewed earlier this year. A recent study from Barna Group reported that: 62% of Christians believe someone can regularly watch porn and still lead a healthy sexual life. 44% of women reporting they regularly watch porn, a significant increase 10% of Christians reported that their churches had programs to help 84% of porn users say they have no one helping them to avoid it. 49% of practicing Christians who admit to personally viewing pornography say they are “comfortable with how much pornography” they use. In October, Mike visited the UK to attend the CRE show in Milton Keynes and to film a 6 part video series there on freedom from porn and sex addiction. During the time he was in the UK the spiritual warfare was intense, with daily battles that sometimes lasted hours, perverse dreams, and more. Regarding the days leading up to and into the tribulation period, Jesus cautioned us in Matthew 24:13 that “the one who endures to the end will be saved.” In Luke 21:36 He told us: “But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Mike looks at our Lord’s counsel to us in the time we find ourselves in, along with an introduction regarding spiritual warfare.

Jesus confronted 70% of the 7 churches He addressed in Revelation 2 and 3. Just because a church has a gifted communicator for a pastor, a big building, or all the other bells and whistles doesn’t mean Jesus that they wouldn’t be one of the 70% Jesus confronted. If we apply the math from Revelation 2 and 3 to the present day, every modern church has a 70% chance, if not higher, that they would hear “Repent or else.” Some might think, “Naaah, my church is fine. It’s other churches who have those problems, not us.” Umm, yeah, with 70% of men (including many pastors) and one third...
