On March 22, 2019, this podcast featured Shannah Boiteau who disappeared from St. Cloud, MN while on a trip to California during June 2016. In April 2025, Shannah's remains were found not far from where she was last seen. Today we remember Shannah while I go over why I got this disappearance wrong. Kenneth Michael Plaisted was a 48 year old from New Holstein, WI. He was a lawyer, father, and husband. On November 16, 1971, Kenneth dropped his wife off in Milwaukee, with the intent on coming back later. Kenneth's car was eventually found near his daughter's place in the same city. He was never seen again. Tiffany Reid was a 16 year old from Shiprock, NM. She was Native American and had several siblings. On the morning of May 17, 2004, Tiffany left for her walk to school, knowing she would be late. She never arrived. A week later, some of Tiffany's belongings were found along a highway in AZ. She was never seen again.

Richard Eugene Dale Hitchcock was a 21 year old from Allegan, MI. He

was an easygoing guy who liked to hunt and fish. In the early morning

of Dec. 22, 1990, Richard allegedly ran off, vaulted two fences, and

jumped into the Kalamazoo River. He was never seen again.

Duane Ryan Thomas was a 30 year old from Newcomb, NM. He was Native

American and worked for his family. In the early morning of March 4,

2011, Duane and his girlfriend were on their way home from a dance.

They pulled over to the side of the road in Red Mesa, AZ when Duane

got sick. Duane walked off into the desert. He was never seen again.

Nancy Sue Braddock, Sue to those who knew her best, was a 36 year old from Nashville, TN. She was the mother of 1 and interested in journalism. In early September of 1980, Sue sent a telegram to her daughter saying she was in a hospital and could not pick her up for their planned trip. Sue did not say which hospital. She was never seen again . . . or was she?

Wendy Gessing was a 50 year old from Crest Hill, IL. She was the mother of one and had a sister and two brothers. On June 12, 2021, Wendy left her job at a pizza place without any warning. Wendy was later recorded on video at a local motel. She was never seen again.

Teresa Lynn Butler was a 35 year old married mother of two from Risco, MO. She worked at Walmart and just recently learned to drive a manual transmission. On January 24, 2006, as was usually the case, her husband left to work the night shift while she remained at home with their two sons. He was never seen again.

Becky Pauline Gary was a 32 year old single mother living in Baton Rouge, LA. She liked making friends at local coffee shops and hobnobbing with the city's upper class. On Dec. 27th, 1988, she called her sister, telling her things weren't working out in Baton Rouge and that she was ready to move to Shreveport. Becky was never seen again.

Ben Charles Padilla was a 50 year old from Pensacola, FL. He was a licensed aircraft mechanic, flight engineer, and pilot of small airplanes. He was on a job in Luanda, Angola, overseeing the refurbishing of a 727. On the evening of May 25th, 2003, with the job almost completely done, an assistant and he went to the plane to test its engines. Minutes later the 727 rolled down the runway and took off. Neither the plane nor the men were ever seen again.

On the night of May 10, 1997, Keith got dropped off at his apartment by a couple of friends. Keith said he was meeting someone after midnight. The next day, Keith's car was found near his parents' house. He was never seen again.

 Arika Lee Hall was a 23 year old from Canton, OH. She was athletic and had 2 sisters. On Feb. 5, 2016, Arika called her mother saying the two guys with her were arguing. She then hung up and Arika allegedly left the premises. She was never seen again.
