We've all been there and still fight those thoughts and feelings of either inferiority or superiority to others, but we don't and shouldn't have to think that way, because your race is YOUR individual race - whatever race it is you're running.

In light of a video we saw on TikTok about life in the US being better than the UK, we thought we'd bring that to the pod, and have a brief discussion on what we both think about life here and how different factors, such as COVID, faith, culture, and values have played a role in the quality of life in the respective countries. For any viewers who've spent some time overseas and also in the UK, let us know what your thoughts are. The differences, similarities, and even where you prefer!

We're all still very much on that journey but today we'll give you some insight, throwback stories and advice on how to deal with making and parting with friends as a young adult.

At various points in life, we can be at a crossroads, where there are huge or important decisions to make that affect our future. Sometimes we get caught up in the here and now, that we lose sight of what lies...

Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things

Fear is not your future, neither should it be something halting you from doing what God is laying on your heart to do/achieve in the present moment. 

There’s purpose in whatever steps you take and whatever consequences follow. Whether the consequence is painful or peaceful, you’re being moulded to learn from it.

what unintentionally takes priority in your life?

we're here to empathise and encourage you guys to put God as the centre and recognise Him as the source of our strength and joy throughout the ups and downs that life brings. He can pour into us, enabling us to pour into other people and other areas of our lives that need it.

seasons change, people change, God stays the same.

to quote Madison Ryann Ward's song 'Seasons'...

"for anybody out there feeling afraid that you're gonna be stuck in the same old place, seasons ALWAYS change"

be encouraged guys, be still, and know God is in control (Psalms 46:10); enjoy this episode and we'll catch you next week!!
