As February closes, seeding for the post-season becomes the focus in basketball. The wrestling squad is still struggling and may need a coaching change. And baseball is underway.

With a little under one month to go until March Madness, everything just means more. Fortunately, this year the conversation is about earning better seeds than getting in. The baseball season begins for Iowa this week as well and the wrestlers are still working toward trying to wrap up the year on a high note.

Another one-score loss, this time to USC, has the boys down but not out. Still optimistic about positively finishing up a season that will be remembered for a lot of reasons...good and bad.

The loss to Oregon was a gut-punch for the guys. But the Hawks have to move forward. So it is on to USC. Field Hockey and Soccer make the NCAA Tournament. And hoops is officially underway as is wrestling!

Women's Hoops and Men's Wrestlers enjoy some rousing victories and have plenty to be optimistic about.
