Calgary Flames player evaluations continue on as Jessica Belmosto shares her thoughts on Mikael Backlund, Blake Coleman and Adam Klapka's seasons. Backlund battled serious injuries throughout the season. The captain still had a relatively productive season battling through the woes. Blake Coleman may have seen a drop in goals but he was still productive. His speed and skill was noted all throughout the season. Plus, Adam Klapka took an unexpected leap in his development and role with the Flames.

There won't be any blockbuster trades or attempts to get Mitch Marner. But is that really a bad thing? The Flames could benefit from some internal promotions as older UFAs are likely to hit the market. When will the inevitable Rasmus Andersson trade happen? Will it be before or after the draft?
