It’s that time of year again… The draft is back. With expanded teams to fit an expanding competition, the finest minds in Fantasy Amateur golf get their heads together to battle it out to see who will take the crown for the 2026 season.

The boys are back, well three of them, and for a sixth season no less. Gav, Jon and Arron discuss the upcoming OoM season, the rule changes or lack thereof and plans for the season ahead.

We discuss the preparations for the draft, a play, a long run and a heart attack, as well as a brief recap of the best of 2025 and whether or not 142 out of 786 can be improved upon for the upcoming year.

As we turn the corner from a long, wet, miserable winter we look forward to the better times ahead...

The boys are back with the end of season review, as September closes and the regular season awards are handed out.

With finals day just around the corner, we find out who will or won’t be making the 24 players competing for the title of Order of Merit champion for 2025. 

There is also a small matter of how this season’s draft ended up.

Ahead of the start of the fifth Order of Merit tomorrow, 6OP are joined by the other four team captains to discuss some slight tweaks to the rules and to undertake the completely meaningless squad draft for the upcoming season. 

Battle lines are drawn and team names will be revealed as we begin the quest to answer the important questions. Will Pete’s Panache prevail again? Has Dan mentally recovered from gagging away the titles? Is Sam going to avoid the wooden spoon forfeit? Huw?

The regular season is over, the points have been totalled and finals day is upon us.
  
Gav is joined by Jon, MTC & Arron as well as the draft captains in a bumper episode that examines the 6OP season goals, the final month of the regular season and the preparation for finals day, as we prepare to lower the curtain on the 2024 season.

We’re into the final month of the Order of Merit and in a disconcerting bout of efficiency, we are back already. This time, we are joined from all over the place by each of the draft captains to chat through August’s controversial results and the OoM season as a whole.

In typically Canadian fashion, long-time leader Dan has faltered over the past couple of months with the finishing line in sight. Did his team steady the ship in August, or have Pete and Jon further closed the gap?

June has come and gone, so OoM 2024 is 50% done. Arron is off saving turtles in South/North America and last month’s guest is busy researching microphones on Amazon so there’s no Herr Ironside, but No Hair Irons, MTC and Jon are joined by longtime-Flocker and draft captain Huw to discuss the season to date and recap a busy month for the wider RACDG, with events having taken place across four countries.

Six, Over Par is back for year three. As the golf season proper edges ever nearer, Gav, Jon and MTC are joined by new recruit, Arron, to discuss the impending return of the Order of Merit. 

There’s also the small matter of an upcoming trip to St Andrews for the opening major of the RACDG season, the MacKenzie Cup, where 64 Flockers will do battle over three rounds at the Home of Golf. 

Who fancies their chances? Will the boys get lucky in the ballot for The Old Course? And when will Gav realise that 1215 isn’...

The 2022 Order of Merit season is complete. Gav, Jon and MTC come together for one last time this year to chew over Finals Weekend at Belton Woods. 

Josh Humbler also joins the pod - his 40 points was more than enough to comfortably hold off the competition and secure the second annual OoM title. 

We also run through all of the weekend prize-winners and key talking points – the banana surplus, lingering fog, a missing dinner and a wooden spoon.
