Today, Anna and Raven speak with guests who share their personal experiences and memories of 9/11, reflecting on the day that changed our nation forever.

This 9/11, Patricia Manzo, President of The Strohm Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting 9/11 first responders through cancer research and meaningful community initiatives joins Anna & Raven. Patricia shares the Foundation’s mission, its connection to the 9/11 community, and why this work continues to matter. 

Scott Munro, President of the NYC Detectives’ Endowment Association, represents a law enforcement community deeply affected by the events of September 11, 2001. On 9/11, members of the NYPD responded to the World Trade Center and many detectives and officers made the ultimate sacrifice while helping others. Munro has continued to honor the memory and legacy of those who were lost, while supporting the families and survivors whose lives were forever changed. 

Kevin Catalina, Suffolk County Police Commissioner, then a Sergeant with the NYPD, was on his way to work when the World Trade Center was attacked 25 years ago today. Today, he reflects on the day.  

Samantha Silverman experienced the attack from inside WTC 3. Today, she speaks on her tragic day with Anna & Raven. Garland Williams was an Army officer working in the Pentagon, and he had only been there about three and a half months when 9/11 happened. Today, he discusses what it looked like on the inside, as a new employee, on the day of tragedy. 

News Anchor Dennis Owens was live on air from Shanksville, PA on ABC27 the day of the September 11th attack. Today, he joins us on the show back again in Shanksville. 

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Robert Darling talks about his experiences on September 11, 2001 inside the White House bunker. Robert was inside the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), working directly in the crisis-management operation around the Vice President and National Security Advisor. Michael Hingson was on the 78th floor of the North Tower when American Airlines Flight 11 struck the tower at 8:46am, Michael happens to be blind and it was Yellow Labrador Roselle that was hanging out under his desk that led him down the 78 floors to safety. Crane, MD, MPH, Medical Director of the World Trade Center Health Program Clinical Center of Excellence at Mount Sinai and Professor in the Department of Environmental Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Steven A. Wallace (NYPD PBA Delegate, Retired, US Navy Veteran), Senior Outreach & Education Program Coordinator at the World Trade Center Health Program Clinical Center of Excellence at Mount Sinai;  joins Anna and Raven today to discuss the medical and long-term health effects of the 9/11 tragedy. 

David Paine and Jay Winuk are the founders of "9/11 Day". A program that commits to taking the day back and making something good of it. The two have started a volunteer program that has helped millions nationwide who are part of the hunger crisis. Paul Veneto pushed an airline beverage cart for 30 years. Today, he runs a non-profit organization "Paulies Push" where he pushes his cart for thousands of miles to symbolize the "first, first responders" of the 4 airplanes the day of the 9/11 attack. In 2001, John Feal was the demolition supervisor during the Ground Zero cleanup when a steel beam fell and crushed part of his foot. John founded the FealGood Foundation and has a new book, I Will Follow You Anywhere., dedicated toward lobbying members of the U.S Congress to provide additional funding to 9/11 responders.
