The descendant of Syrian refugees, Cheyenne was raised by two generations of single mothers who fought to create their version of the American Dream. 

Cheyenne overcame generational obstacles to become the first in her family to graduate college, with dual degrees in political science and public policy. She went on to earn her law degree, drawing on her own experiences to defend domestic violence survivors in the Orange County courts.

Kim Nguyen Penaloza - Candidate House of Representatives District 45

Kim Nguyen-Penaloza made history in 2016 as the first Latina and youngest person elected to the Garden Grove City Council at only the age of 25 and is now running for the 45th Congressional District. Kim is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant mother and Vietnamese refugee father and the first in her family to go to college. Kim recently gave birth to her first child, Penelope Luna Penaloza and seeks to be a voice for working mothers.

Allyson Muñiz Damikolas is an engineer, mom of three, and Tustin school board trustee running for Congress in California’s 40th Congressional District. Rooted in California, her Mexican-American family has a strong military background; her father is a US Marine veteran and her grandfathers fought in WWII. Her mother, a union cafeteria worker, raised four children. Determined to rise from financial instability, Allyson got an engineering degree and joined an environmental consulting firm.

Common Sense Party with Co-Founder Tom Campbell

According to the Public Policy Institute of California's poll, 68% of Californians agree with the statement, "A third party is needed." and the Common Sense Party was created to be that alternative. 

Tom Campbell is a former five-term Republican United States Congressman and a former member of the California State Senate. He's currently the Dean of the Chapman University School of Law.
