Hoskins makes history as Cobblers go second

Hoskins Makes History As Cobblers Go 2nd
Sam Hoskins made history as he became the first Cobblers player to score 20 league goals as the Cobblers won comfortably at Doncaster.
Both Hoskins and Mitch Pinnock were gifted goals by Donny goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell and the Cobblers secured a 2-0 win.
Thanks to losses for both Stevenage and Carlisle, that result puts the Cobblers 2nd in the League Two table and Danny has fired up the Title Train. Are you on board?

The Preview Show: Hartlepool United v Northampton Town

Northampton Town are on the road again this week as they travel north to take on Hartlepool United in League Two.
Before we get to that though, weâre reeling about the decision to reject the Cobblers appeal for Aaron McGowanâs red card to be rescinded. So much so, in fact that weâre never going to appeal anything ever again.
There was some good news this week though, in the form of two 0-0 draw for both Stockport and Bradford. Those results mean the Cobblers remain in 4th place and are now level on gam...
Class Will Always Beat Ass

Northampton Town achieved justice by beating Crawley Town on Saturday and there is plenty for the team to discuss on this weekâs show.

The Cobblers saved their blushes late on against Rochdale as they left Spotland with a 1-1 draw.
We react to your Three Word Reviews from Saturday evening and vent our frustrations at the Cobblersâ inability to get a win against the leagueâs bottom side.
We ask why there seems to be a lack of intent in the Cobblers attack. Is it the lack of a number 10? The players not implementing what theyâre being coached to do? Or something else?
Plus, Danny defends the stick 90âs Northampton band, Warehouse have been getting this wee...

Since then, both sides have had mixed fortunes.
Mansfield have won 1, drawn 1 and lost 2 and the Cobblers have won 1 and lost 3.
While the Cobblers have brought in goalkeeper, Tom King, Nigel Clough has had a far busier transfer window.

Cobblers Suffer At Stockport

We're looking back at Northampton Town's 2-0 defeat away at Stockport this week.

After 5 wins in our last 15 games, we also discuss our chances of catching Leyton Orient and Stevenage above us and, looking downwards, should we be worried and hit the panic button?
