A major cybersecurity investigation has uncovered thousands of customer records linked to 17 commercial banks in Nepal on the dark web. The investigation found 7,597 exposed records, with around 5,480 unique bank-account records after removing duplicates. The data reportedly includes usernames, emails, mobile numbers and passwords, raising serious concerns about password reuse, phishing and the security of digital banking and recruitment portals.
