Auston Matthews finished the 2023-2024 NHL season with the 18th most goals in season all-time, the most goals since 95-96, and one shy of 70.

John Tortorella Pulls Goalie to Eliminate Penguins and Red Wings | April 17, 2024
The Philadelphia Flyers had to win their game against the Washington Capitals tonight in regulation to keep their playoff hopes alive, so when the game was tied 1-1 late in the third, the John Tortorella pulled their goalie. At the same time, the Detroit Red Wings forced overtime against the Montreal Canadiens, eliminating the Flyers. The Flyers would go on to concede an empty net goal and clinching a playoff spot for the Washington Capitals and eliminating the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsbirgh Penguins.

I Was Fooled by Alex Meruelo and the Arizona Coyotes... They're Moving to Utah | April 15, 2024
In one week, everything has changed. The Arizona Coyotes will no longer be staying in Phoenix with the hopes of building a permanent home after winning a land auction, they'll instead be sold by Alex Meruelo to the NHL, then to the Smith Group, moved to Utah, and will one day, hopefully, be back.
