"People Suck; Love Them Anyway"
No matter your race, religious denomination, spot on the tax bracket, or political party, there is one thing that has been blatantly obvious for centuries - sometimes people suck! Keenan Riley and Nick Sullivan of Fruition Church understand this better than anyone, but through this podcast they'll discuss some unique takes on how to fulfill the Christian duty to "love our enemies" and emulate the love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness that Christ first showed us. Dress Your Best and Shut Your Mouth
Should women preach? Should we have to dress up for God on Sundays? Two controversial topics in one, little episode for you to digest this week; check it out!
Unrepentant, Judgmental Sinners
Why are we quicker to condemn someone who practices homosexuality than we are someone who is lazy, gluttonous, or struggles with lust? It’s Pride Month in America; how should Christians handle this? Why is it so difficult to have conversations with people who believe differently than us? All that and more in this week’s new episode!
Where’s the Spirit?
A lot of churches are just thriving businesses in disguise. We see a lot of churches who succeed at raising money, filling seats, and packing alters; however, we rarely see moves of the Holy Spirit in the modern church of 2026. Why is that? Listen and find out!
Have Faith; Question Everything
Be careful putting your faith in Earthly leaders. That politician you have signs up in your yard, that preacher at your childhood church, the CEO of your favorite company, the teacher at your college, and many others are still flawed human beings who sin and get stuff wrong on the regular.
A Link in the Chain
Stop being a selfish Christian in a world where so many people are struggling. There’s a lot of craziness going on in the world, but you may have the ability to bless someone in a small way that has a huge impact.
Should I Stay, or Should I Go?
One of the hardest things for Christians to do is know when God wants us to move and when He wants us to sit still and wait for Him to move. Don’t allow minor inconveniences to overshadow major blessings in your life.
Don’t Wait Until It Hits Home
We are (finally) back at our new location in Horse Cave, KY to bring you a brand new episode! Don’t wait until a situation hits home to show empathy and compassion. Take time to step back and look at life through the lens of people you typically disagree with.
False Conversion
Are we making salvation too easy and convenient? Are we creating false conversion experiences and leaving these new converts to Christianity to fend for themselves? Why don’t we see more miracles take place at the hands of Christians? All that and more in this week’s episode!
Substituting or Supplementing
Are we substituting in-person church and a personal relationship with Christ with live streams, podcasts, and devotionals, or are we supplementing a committed Christian lifestyle with these things instead?
Child-Like Christians
The world is on fire; what should Christians be doing about it? How can Christians live out a child-like faith in the modern world? All this and more in this week’s all-new episode!
“Check Yo Self Before You Wreck Yo Self”
Why are so many Christians so eager to use the Bible as a sword against other people rather than using it to cut out the sin in their own lives? Always go to God in prayer first before you rebuke other people; make sure you’re always operating in God’s will.
Don’t Waste What God Gave You
In this bite-sized episode, we talk about how we should spend the time, effort, money, and energy that God blesses us with each and every day.
Choose Your Own Adventure
Our life is like a choose your own adventure book. There is a best path for our lives that God wants us to walk, but we often choose to go down a different path. How do we discern trials that come from God versus the distractions that come from the enemy?
Godly Preparation
The Bible tells us not to be worried about the future, but it is important for us to be prepared to share the Gospel in the mission field God has called us to work in. Being prepared can help us accomplish more and set us up for success.
You Are What You Choose
It’s New Years’s Eve, but how do we make our resolutions actually stick? This week we talk about the physical and spiritual discipline necessary to accomplish our goals and aspirations.
Bad Decisions?
Would God be okay with us taking out debt to pay for Christmas? Check out part 1 of a 2-part episode that will be finished on New Year’s Eve as we discuss whether or not debt is Godly/biblical.
Prioritize Being Present
Our priorities are all out of whack these days. We are always worried about what’s coming; we struggle to be at peace and content with God’s current blessings in our lives. We need to take a step back and make what’s truly important each and every day a priority.
Manufactured Peace
Sometimes in order to experience God’s presence we must get back to the basics. Take time to get alone with God and the natural world that He created.
Pray Vs. Prey
Be aware of what you put out into the world. People are watching and people are judging. Are people praying for you or preying on you?
Take a Chance
In order to see the blessings God has in store for you, you’ll have to take a chance and step outside your comfort zone. You’ll never achieve God’s plans for your life if you don’t leave your own.
Inside Out
Revival starts within you, not from something that happens outside of you or around you.
Vulnerable Enough to Change
Change is scary because it leaves us vulnerable; however, change is often necessary to grow deeper with God and accomplish His will.
Why’d You Post That?
Sometimes we are quick to post our opinions because we are being led by our feelings instead of our faith. We should be led by the Spirit, not our opinions.
Be Aware
Be aware that people are always watching what you do, say, or post. Is what you’re doing pushing people away from Jesus, or is it bringing them closer? Are you doing more harm than good?
Shifting Priorities
Have priorities shifted over the last few generations? Are we so burnt out because we are prioritizing the wrong things? Your priorities show how deep your faith in God is.
Gotta Go Deeper
In order to experience deeper blessings from God, you have to go deeper with God. Stop celebrating bare-minimum Christian duties like reading devotional and praying before meals; start building your faith from a firm foundation and go deeper with God.
Submitted and Committed
What’s the difference between a Christian and a disciple of Christ? A lot of churches struggle to help Christians past the point of getting them saved. It’s about being willing to face difficult seasons with God by your side and trusting Him through it all.
Direct My Steps
Make sure you’re spending time in the word so you’ll know what God wants you to do and where God wants you to go.
Chasing Your Purpose
In order to achieve what God wants for your life, you have you know His voice. If you know His voice, He can guide you, direct you, and give you wisdom to make any and all decisions.
Don’t Open the Door
Demonic forces, portals, and other crazy stuff are all over this week’s all new episode!
Healthy Consistency
It’s very important to make sure you are consistently working on being physically, spiritually, and mentally healthy. It isn’t always going to be easy, but it will definitely be worth it!
Bad Apples
Sucky people are doing some pretty sucky things in the world right now. Crazy courtroom drama, un-anointing oil, and judgmental Christians are the highlights of this week’s all-new episode!
Divided in Heaven
How can we be united in Heaven if we are so divided here on Earth? Are we asking God what to do and where to go before we take action? Following God’s will for your life means being sensitive to His Spirit and making decisions based on the life He wants you to live. Follow God’s canonical story for your life despite your free will.
World on Fire
Israel and Iran are going at it again, ICE agents are cracking down on immigrants, and everyone has a different opinion on how Christians should feel about it all. The world is on fire, but are we on fire for God? All that and more in this week’s episode, so check it out!
God Will Provide
God will ask you to do some crazy things and trust Him even when it doesn’t make sense and everyone calls you crazy. You have to trust that God will provide for you even when it doesn’t make sense.
Eeyore Era
Feeling like Eeyore lately? Then this episode is for you! When life sucks, it’s time to find ways to get motivated. Discipline, consistency, and good habits are the fuel to get you motivated and on the way to where you want to go and who you want to be.
Spend Time With Sinners
Spend time with sinners and make their lives better. Should Christians be more associated with sinners than they are with other church-going people?
Rawdogging it for Jesus - Uncensored
This isn’t your grandma’s episode of “People Suck; Love Them Anyway”! We are back after a two-week hiatus to bring you one of our rawest episodes yet; this one is about Christians taking on personal responsibility and making disciples despite their feelings.
It Starts With Us
We can’t expect a spiritual breakthrough or revival to start with surface-level Christians. We have to be more desperate for more of God. We have to be willing to go deeper in faith if we want to see God move in His fullness and glory.
Are You Really Saved?
What exactly does it require of us to receive salvation? Do we make it more complicated than we are supposed to? Are we too strict or not strict enough? Due to technical issues, the rest of this week’s podcast is only available in video format on YouTube!
