State of the State Wednesday night; Nesbitt to provide response

Governor Gretchen Whitmer will deliver her State of the State address Wednesday night. WSJM will carry the speech starting at 7 p.m. Providing a Republican response to the governor will be state Senator Aric Nesbitt. His office says he’ll deliver a video response immediately after the address. The governor is expected to use her annual address to call for gun safety laws, including a red flag law, along with tax relief and a plan for how to use a massive budget surplus.
