The madman behind the gang war has been revealed as the Engineer! Armed with the Radioactive Salts that once fueled The Green Lama, this sinister dictator plans to turn New York into his personal kingdom… unless the Lama and his allies can stop him!

Terror grips New York. The Green Lama and his allies race across the city to find the source of the blasts, but time is running out. The mastermind behind the chaos is up to something big, and they could be anywhere... even right under the Lama's very roof...

City Hall is still on lockdown. An assassin is on the loose. Just who is behind all of this turmoil? The Green Lama and the Riveter have teamed up to get to the bottom of things, but they will have to move quickly; there is no telling what may happen should they and their allies fail in their duties, but whatever it is, it’s sure to be… explosive.

A murder in New York’s City Hall! Who could it be? And for what reason? It will be up to the Green Lama, the Riveter, and all of their allies to discover the culprit before a tidal wave of violence plagues the five boroughs. 

New York's gang war is about to reach a fever pitch, but the Green Lama has a bigger foe in the meantime: the newfound, youthful defender of the city known (to the papers, at least) as the Riveter! Both heroes are after a cypher that may uncover the identity of the unknown instigator of the citywide conflict, but their methods may push them apart just as the citizenry needs them to pull together!

The Green Lama isn’t the only one who has returned. The villain known as the Death’s Head Face has seemingly gone legitimate, while the Lama’s own trusted allies are dealing with the aftermath of war. Even the police are questioning whether the green-robed sentinel has a place in a “modern world.” With rumors flying about a new vigilante, it is once again up to the Green Lama to get to the bottom of a mystery, even if that puts him at odds with the city he calls home. 

After more than seventy years, the Green Lama is back! Jethro Dumont—the Buddhist superhero known as the Green Lama—spent World War II fighting the Nazis, but now returns to New York to find his city in the grips of a gang war. Plagued with doubt but desperate to do good, he must find a way to defend the Big Apple from a criminal civil war that could rip the city apart!
