I’ve started therapy, and it’s been fantastic. She is poking holes in all my arguments and challenging me in ways that I both need and am able to receive.

One of these ways is with my perfectionism streak. My therapist has given me a way to reframe failure that I’ve finally been able to hear and has helped me tremendously.

LOSING MY JOB WAS SO GREAT!

It’s been eleven years since I was laid off from my engineering job! Wow!

I should say that it wasn’t great at the time. But after a while I was able to separate who I am from what I do.

Can we say liberating?
